Pinky Promise combines lipstick reds and reddish-oranges with plummy purples, transitioning through corals and pinks with highlights of tangerine and light peach. The warp is comprised entirely of my favorite fluffy cottolin. The weave is the same previously used for Darwaza and is referred to as Serrure 1 in reference to the source (the draft can be found in Atlas de 4000 Armures by Louis Serrure). It is a dense, thick weave with superior cushioning and a subtle geometric interest. A fractured diamond pattern can be discerned along with the shadow of a zig-zag.
