This wrap features a 100% silk hand-dyed warp. See this page for details on the inspiration and process. The weft used for this piece is 40% linen/60% cotton, commercially dyed in plum. The weave, a 16-shaft draft from Louis Serrure's Atlas de 4000 Armures, has a subtle diagonal pattern. The wrap is smooth and soft and weighs approximately 250 grams/m^2.
