Obscura is the project I have undertaken as Artist in Residence at the Camera Obscura Art Lab in Santa Monica from April-July 2017. You can read more about it here.
The warp for this wrap is 10/2 100% Organic pima cotton. It has been hand-dyed in a palette to match a series of watercolor studies I completed at a favorite local park. The weft is lace-weight superwash merino wool/silk yarn hand-dyed to match colors from the warp. It is woven with a draft that may be found in Atlas of Weaves by Louis Serrure (handweaving.net pattern #35186). This is a weave is moderately smooth with a subtle hatched pattern. It weighs approximately 285 grams/m^2.
