Water-lily Pond is a pointed twill that has been woven with a dense warp (30 EPI). The warp is 95% Egyptian Cotton/5% Cotton. The weft for this wrap is a fine hand-dyed hemp yarn. It was grown and processed in Europe under strict conditions and without the use of herbicides or pesticides. It has not been bleached and has a natural shine. 

Hemp is hypoallergenic and non-irritating to the skin. It has a rich and supple texture while possessing tremendous strength and durability. This yarn has a rustic quality and nubs and slubs are characteristic.

It weighs approximately 320 grams/meter^2. The combination of hemp weft and dense sett make this a thick wrap. It is also wide, at 30". I would not recommend it for newborns or smaller babies. It would be perfect for a larger baby/toddler.
